Francis Ngannou UFC Career
His rise to fame came through his incredible knockout power and devastating striking abilities. Ngannou made his UFC debut in December 2015 and quickly gained attention for his impressive performances inside the octagon. He holds wins over many notable fighters in the heavyweight division.
Francis Ngannou’s fighting style and knockout ability earned him the nickname “The Predator.” His record includes victories against fighters like Stipe Miocic, Curtis Blaydes, and Alistair Overeem, among others. His knockout victory over Stipe Miocic at UFC 260 in March 2021 earned him the UFC Heavyweight Championship.

Outside the octagon, Ngannou’s story is also remarkable. He had a difficult upbringing and spent some time as an undocumented immigrant in France before pursuing a career in mixed martial arts.
Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou
In the summer of 2023, it was announced that Francis Ngannou would enter the boxing ring. Not one to shirk a challenge Francis Ngannou elected to make his debut against none other than undefeated WBC Heavyweight Champion of the world – Tyson ‘The Gypsy King’ Fury. The bout is scheduled to take place on October 28th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This big-money contest has been met with criticism within the boxing world with few giving Ngannou a chance against the unbeaten Brit. Similarly, fans have been disappointed with the lack a match-up for Fury against Oleksandr Usyk for the Undisputed Heavyweight title or compatriot, Anthony Joshua.
